OREANDA-NEWS During trading on the St. Petersburg International Commodity Exchange (SPbMTSB), gasoline and diesel fuel continued to grow in recent days, according to the site's data.

The cost of AI-92 gasoline increased by 2.02 percent, to 50,117 rubles per ton, and AI-95 gasoline increased by 2.16 percent, to 62,773 rubles. Both of them accelerated growth, the day before the increase was less than two percent.

Summer diesel fuel increased in price by 1.79 percent, to 63,991 rubles per ton, off—season - by 2.38 percent, to 63,879 rubles, and winter — by 1.31 percent, to 64,529 rubles. All types of fuel, with the exception of AI-92, have been at maximum levels since the end of September, when the government restricted fuel exports.

The current increase in the cost of gasoline is taking place against the background of a ban on its export from March 1 and ongoing drone attacks on refineries. Since the beginning of the year, damage has been confirmed by enterprises in Tuapse, Nizhny Novgorod, Ryazan and Novoshakhtinsk.

The exact terms of their repair are not called. On the eve of the first deputy head of the Ministry of Energy Pavel Sorokin noted that Russia is not in danger of a gasoline shortage, because the government is taking the necessary measures, and sufficient fuel reserves have been formed at oil depots.
