OREANDA-NEWS  Explosive devices, possibly dropped from drones, were found at the Novozybkov oil pumping station of the Druzhba oil pipeline in the Bryansk region. This was reported by TASS with reference to the official representative of the operator of the pipeline "Transneft" Igor Demin.

According to him, explosive devices in plastic cases of non-industrial production with a striking warhead in the form of steel balls were found on the territory of the station yesterday, March 14, and today, March 15. Another explosive device was also found at noon today, which was dropped from a UAV.

Igor Demin noted that the station has not been pumping oil since the beginning of 2023. He claims that the purpose of the attack was to kill people, investigative actions are being conducted on the spot. "The nature of the combat unit — metal balls — suggests that the organizers of the sabotage did not plan the destruction of the object, but the murder of people from among the civilian personnel serving the Druzhba oil pipeline station," Mr. Demin said.

On February 1, it was reported that the armed forces of Ukraine fired on the station on January 31, but this incident did not affect its operation. In October, the head of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, also reported that an explosive device went off on the stretch between the settlements of Novozybkov and Zlinka. As a result, the railway tracks were damaged.

On October 12, the Polish operator of the Druzhba pipeline, concern Pern, reported a leak on the main route of oil supplies to Germany at a site 70 km from the city of Plock. After verification, the operator did not reveal the involvement of third parties in the leak.
