OREANDA-NEWS. October 05, 2016. Dallas Fort Worth International (DFW) Airport, in conjunction with Univision Communications Inc. and Paradies Lagardre, recently celebrated the grand opening of the Univision Travel Shop, in International Terminal D.

The travel-essentials concept delivers local, national and international news, as well as snacks, health and beauty items, and travel and electronic accessories. In addition, original Univision programming in English and Spanish continuously streams in store.

"DFW Airport is constantly working to enhance our customer experience by providing travelers with unique and culturally relevant concessions and retail options," said Ken Buchanan, executive vice president of Revenue Management at DFW Airport. "Particularly with North Texas' large Latino population and through our several routes to Mexico and Latin America, we're delighted to partner with Univision and Paradies Lagard?re to offer our customers even more rich, cultural content and products."

This is the fifth Univision-branded airport store opened in partnership with Paradies Lagard?re, the travel retail and restaurateur leader in North America. The grand opening celebration featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony and remarks from DFW Airport, Paradies Lagard?re and Univision. Following the ceremony, an onsite DJ played music to draw airport customers to the event.
