OREANDA-NEWS  Germany has reduced exports to Russia in November of 5.5% compared to October, to 551,5 million euros, the report said the Federal statistical office of Germany.

Imports from Russia increased by 22.5% to 109.47 million euros last month.

November exports to Russia were 22.5% lower than a year earlier, while imports from Russia were 2.7% lower.

In January-November, Germany has reduced exports to Russia 9.2%, imports from the country by 32.1%.

The total volume of German exports, adjusted for calendar and seasonal factors, decreased by 2.5% in November compared to the previous month, to a minimum of 128.1 billion euros in 13 months.

The volume of imports increased by 0.8%, to 115.1 billion euros.

Analysts surveyed by Trading Economics on average expected German exports to remain unchanged in November, while imports would increase by 0.2%.

Exports of German goods to the European Union decreased by 4.2% compared to October, while shipments to non-EU countries decreased by 0.2%. Exports to the USA decreased by 4.2%, to the UK - by 8.1%, to China - increased by 3.4%.

Imports from EU countries decreased by 4% last month, while imports from countries outside the EU increased by 6.3%. Imports from the USA increased by 7.9%, from the UK - by 10.9%, from China - by 8%.

Germany's foreign trade surplus fell to 13.1 billion euros in November from 17.2 billion euros in October.
