OREANDA-NEWS  In the first four months of 2026, beer imports to Russia increased by 51 percent, or one and a half times, to 13.5 million decaliters compared to the same period a year earlier. Vedomosti writes about this with reference to data from the Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies (the operator of the Honest Sign labeling system).

At the same time, domestic production, according to Rosalokoltabakkontrol (RATK), fell by 2.2 percent (about six million decaliters), to 277.7 million decaliters.

As the market participants surveyed by the publication pointed out, the impressive dynamics of foreign beer supplies is due to the extremely low figure of last year. Then the result was influenced by a tenfold increase in duties on products from unfriendly countries.
