Russia sold a record amount of gold to Kazakhstan in July

OREANDA-NEWS In July of this year, Russia exported a record $76.95 million worth of gold to Kazakhstan since April last year, RIA Novosti found out after studying the customs statistics of the neighboring republic.
Exports of the yellow metal increased by 1.72 times in July compared to the same period last year. In the middle of summer, Kazakhstan imported it only from Russia. A more significant figure was recorded only in April 2024 - $ 83 million. At the same time, Russian silver supplies showed negative dynamics in annual terms - they sank by almost 20%, to 15.3 thousand dollars.
