OREANDA-NEWS  In June, the supply of Polish wine to the Russian market increased to a record 8.3 million euros. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to Eurostat.

Compared to the May figures, exports increased 1.4 times. Thus, Poland took the second place among the EU countries in terms of wine supplies to Russia, surpassing Latvia. Italy managed to keep the first place. Its imports decreased by 4.6 percent, to 14.1 million euros. Latvia took the third place with an indicator of 6.1 million euros.

It also turned out that Portuguese wine imports increased to 3.35 million euros, and German wine imports increased to 1.5 million euros.

According to Rosalokoltabakkontrol, sales of some alcoholic beverages have fallen in Russia in the first seven months of 2025. For vodka, the decrease is estimated at 4.2 percent, and for cognac — at 9.8. Sales of grape wines decreased by one and a half percent, and sparkling wines — by three.

It also turned out that in Russia the production of vodka fell by 9.1 percent, and cognac — by 19.3 percent.
