The price of cocoa beans in the world fell by a thousand dollars in a day

OREANDA-NEWS Exchange prices for cocoa beans on Friday are losing 10% of their value and have already decreased by one thousand dollars per day, to 9 thousand dollars per ton, according to ICE Futures data.
As of 18.23 Moscow time, the price of the March (nearest) cocoa bean futures fell by 9.94% to $ 9,074 per ton, which is about a thousand dollars less than the previous closing level of $ 10,075.
The last time cocoa bean futures experienced a relatively strong drop was at the end of December 2024: on December 26 and 27, prices for these raw materials decreased by 1 thousand dollars per day. However, on December 30, the losses were mostly recouped.
