China has opened the first cargo flight between Ningbo and Moscow

OREANDA-NEWS Transportation on the first regular direct cargo flight between the Chinese eastern city of Ningbo and Moscow started on Tuesday, the Xinhua news Agency reports.
According to the agency, on Tuesday, a cargo plane of the Russian aviation company Aviastar-TU took off for Moscow from Lishe International Airport in Ningbo.
"This marked the official opening of the first regular direct cargo flight from this city to Russia," the statement said.
It is noted that flights on this route will be operated twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays. Compared to sea transportation, according to the agency, the air route will help increase logistics efficiency by more than 60% while significantly reducing supply chain costs.
