OREANDA-NEWS Several Russian airports have lifted flight restrictions imposed on the night of May 6 for security reasons. This is reported by the Telegram channel "Representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency".

It is specified that bans on departures and arrivals were lifted at the air ports of Ivanovo, Kaluga, Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl, Samara, Volgograd, Moscow and Saratov.

On the night of May 6, the Carpet plan was introduced at 13 airports in Russia. In particular, the measures were applied at Moscow's Vnukovo, Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo and Zhukovsky air ports, as well as at airports in Samara, Saratov, Volgograd, Kaluga, Ivanovo, Yaroslavl, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan and Nizhnekamsk.
