OREANDA-NEWS  It has been revealed which car factory will assemble the two Jeland models. The Russian AGR holding company has received vehicle type approval for two new crossovers, which will be produced in Russia under the Jeland brand. According to the document, the new C5 and C7 models will be produced at the assembly site in Kaluga, where Tenet machines are currently being manufactured.

According to the certificate, which gives the right to start production and sales of cars in Russia, both cars will be designed for five passengers.

The C5 model will be the base model. The car will be powered by a 147-horsepower supercharged 1.5-liter engine operating in conjunction with a 6- or 7-band automatic, front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

The older C7 will be powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharger with 150 or 186 hp, which combines a 7-speed robotic gearbox, front—wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

The appearance of a new car brand in Russia became known in early February 2026. Under the new brand, it is expected that Russians will be offered redesigned Jaecoo models, and the first-born model range will be the J6 crossover.
