OREANDA-NEWS  The South Korean automobile company Kia, which left Russia, has registered the KIA trademark in the Russian Federation, RIA Novosti found out after studying the electronic database of Rospatent.

According to the documents, the application was submitted to the agency in October 2024, and in December 2025, Rospatent decided to register the trademark in Russia with a validity period until 2034.

Now, under KIA, the company can design and sell car components, technical oils, and electronic control systems in Russia.
