OREANDA-NEWS  The Crimean authorities plan to solve the problem of traffic congestion in resort towns by building multi-tiered parking lots near the most attractive locations for tourists, Vadim Volchenko, Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea, told reporters.

"As for the issue of the transport component, parking - this problem exists in almost all tourist cities. We feel it periodically on the southern coast and in Yalta. Now one of the tasks is the construction of multi-tiered parking lots in the right locations," Volchenko said.

He added that the implementation of projects for the construction of multi-tiered parking lots, presumably, will be municipalities with the support of the regional authorities. They (parking - approx. In my opinion, they should be primarily municipal - at the expense of municipal loans and other financing programs. This is very good for the city, and it is a world practice when "long" money comes in as payment for this parking," the minister explained.

He also added that modern solutions are needed for planning a number of attractive territories of Crimea from the point of view of tourism, including in Bolshaya Yalta.
