OREANDA-NEWS  If in October the Russian car market occupied the second place in Europe, then in November it fell to the fourth. This was reported by Autostat with reference to the BestSellingCarsBlog portal.

Germany is in the first place, where 250,000 671 cars were sold in the last month of autumn. This is 2.5 percent more than last year's figures. The UK follows with a result of 151 thousand 154 cars sold. Finally, France got the third position — 132,927 cars purchased.

By the end of November, 127,921 new passenger cars were sold in Russia. Thus, the Russian Federation dropped to the fourth place. Italy and Spain are on the fifth and sixth lines with the results of 124,222 and 94,124 cars sold, respectively.

According to forecasts, in 2026, sales of new cars in Russia will fall by 200,000 units compared to 2025. The reason for this dynamic will be the rules for calculating the recycling fee.
