S7 fined for overbooking

OREANDA-NEWS S7 Airlines (Siberia) was fined 40,000 rubles for repeated overbooking. This was reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the East Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office.
It is specified that in May 2025, she refused to check in to two passengers for the flight. By the decision of the transport prosecutor, the company was brought to administrative responsibility under part 2 of Article 14.4 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not comply with regulatory legal acts, committed repeatedly").
Earlier it was reported that passengers will receive compensation in the amount of 200 percent of the cost of air tickets when overbooking is legalized in Russia.
