Sales of some electric cars in Russia have increased dramatically

OREANDA-NEWS Last month, 1,602 new electric vehicles were sold in Russia. This was reported by Autostat.
The achieved result was 57 percent higher than in November 2024. The Russian brand AMBERAUTO took the first place with a result of 404 copies sold. In addition, 222 Evolute electric cars were sold. The Chinese brands Zeekr, Xiaomi and BYD accounted for 196, 172 and 154 electric vehicles sold, respectively.
According to the agency, 11.2 thousand new electric vehicles were sold in Russia in 11 months of 2025. This is 31 percent less than from January to November 2024.
In October 2025, 2,191 used electric cars were purchased in Russia. The achieved result was 35 percent more than in September and 67 percent higher than in October 2024. At the same time, 32 percent of electric vehicles purchased in October 2025 came from the Japanese Nissan brand. In total, 12,000 used electric vehicles were able to be sold in Russia from January to October.
