The Ministry of Industry and Trade has expanded the list of cars subject to increased taxes

OREANDA-NEWS The Ministry of Industry and Trade has expanded the list of passenger cars with an increased transport tax rate.
Now it has 573 models compared to 555 a year earlier: 305 cars worth from ten million rubles and 268 — worth from 15 million rubles.
The list was expanded with six cars with an electric motor. In addition to Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, there were Zeekr 009 4WD We edition, 009 Brilliance, 001 FR models, as well as Mercedes-Benz G-class EQ technology and Tesla Cybertruck.
First, cars such as the Nissan GT-R Nismo, several Mercedes-Benz models, McLaren cars, and others appeared.
The increasing coefficient is applied to passenger cars with an average cost of ten million rubles and above. Previously, this threshold was lower and started at three million rubles, but since January 1, 2022, the criteria have been revised.
