A new building of the Museum of the World Ocean has been opened

OREANDA-NEWS The new building of the World Ocean Museum "Planet Ocean" has opened in Kaliningrad, Russian Culture Minister Olga Lyubimova has announced.
"The beginning of the work of the corps is timed to coincide with the 180th anniversary of the Russian Geographical Society," Lyubimova wrote in her telegram channel.
She said that the total area of Planet Ocean is more than 10,000 square meters. Six laboratories with modern interactive exhibits, scientific playgrounds, the Bolshoy Okean Hall, 29 aquariums and a library are located on seven floors of the building.
"The building will be opened in three stages. Starting today, the following facilities are available to visitors: the Baltic Laboratory, Aquariums, the Bolshoy Okean Hall, the Beauty Laboratory and the Library," Lyubimova said.
In addition, the OCEANiA educational center is already operating, which includes marine classes and the headquarters of the Kaliningrad regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society, as well as a large lecture hall.
