"Today, at the airport in Phnom Penh, the competent authorities of the Kingdom of Cambodia handed over to the staff of the Interpol National Security Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia two citizens of our country who were wanted through Interpol channels," she said.

According to her, one of the detainees was in charge of a car service from 2007 to 2008; using his official position, he committed fraud in the field of lending. In particular, by providing false information to banks, he stole more than 6.5 million rubles.

In 2014, he was charged under Article 159.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, but he fled abroad. On behalf of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation, based on materials provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Novosibirsk region, he was put on the international wanted list in September 2014.
