OREANDA-NEWS US President Donald Trump confirmed that SpaceX CEO Elon Musk lifted the speed limit of the Starlink system for the Ukrainian military, but did not comment on whether the entrepreneur did it after his call.

"I don't want to comment on that. You know, whether I called or someone else, it doesn't matter. I think the main thing is that he returned everything as it was," Trump told reporters in Washington.

According to the US president, he has a very good relationship with Musk.

Earlier on Thursday, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) newspaper, citing sources, reported that Trump appealed to Musk to lift restrictions on Starlink for Ukraine. According to her, the US president called Musk, who, according to the sources of the publication, had previously ordered the system to slow down in Ukraine.

WSJ sources clarified that shortly after the conversation between Trump and the Mask, Starlink began to work better; some noted that its full functionality had not been restored.
