OREANDA-NEWS  The European Union (EU) has begun to consider a response to US President Donald Trump's tariffs over Greenland. This is reported by the Financial Times (FT).

"The EU is preparing duties for 93 billion euros in response to Trump's threat against Greenland," the message says.

It is noted that the EU, as a response, may also restrict American companies' access to the European market.

Earlier, Trump announced 10% duties against a number of EU countries due to the situation around Greenland. They will affect Germany, France, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, as well as non-EU Great Britain and Norway.
