OREANDA-NEWS   Germany insists on the operation of the Starlink satellite communication system in Ukraine, as it pays for this technology. This was stated by German Foreign Minister Johann Vadefuhl, Merkur reports.

"Germany partially finances the Starlink technology. And therefore, of course, we insist on its efficiency, if we pay for it," Vadefulh said.

The German Foreign Minister also called the restriction of Starlink's work "increasing pressure in the wrong place." According to him, the European policy of sanctions restrictions against Russia is supposedly "more promising."

On October 9, Russian President Vladimir Putin and his American counterpart Donald Trump agreed to supply Russian diesel fuel to the American and global markets. For this reason, Washington has eased sanctions against Moscow in the energy sector until April 2027. As the Russian head of state noted, this will help the global economy.
