OREANDA-NEWS   Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on the introduction of external temporary management over the Russian assets of French flooring manufacturer Tarkett. The document is posted on the portal of the official publication of legal information.

We are talking about shares of Tarkett JSC, owned by the Serbian company Tarkett from the city of Backa Palanka and the French Tarkett (in both cases, these are 187,5 thousand ordinary and 500 thousand preferred shares), 100 ordinary shares of Tarkett Rus JSC (owned by the Russian manufacturer of Tarkett floor coverings) and a 100% stake in Tarkett Sommer LLC, which is owned by the specified joint-stock company.

Four other foreign companies also came under external management: Kappa Rus JSC (12,565 shares), Ontex RU LLC (100 percent share), Eviosis Packaging Kuban LLC and Mensen Packaging CIS LLC.

Center Capital Management Company LLC from Tatarstan, registered in 2013, has been appointed to manage each asset. According to the RAS (Russian Accounting Standards) report, in the first half of 2026, the company's revenue amounted to 14.8 million rubles, and the loss reached 867 thousand rubles.

In September, the Russian assets of the French retailer Auchan and the Leman PRO chain, formerly part of the French Leroy Merlin group, were transferred to external management. Unknown in the market, L.E.V. Management JSC, has been appointed to manage them.

Putin argues that this practice does not constitute the nationalization of European enterprises, because there are options under which owners can return their property.
