OREANDA-NEWS   In the Russian Federation, the maximum amount of CTP payments will be limited. A bill has been submitted to the State Duma, according to which drivers will not be able to get insurance for more than 400 thousand rubles for car repairs, even if this amount is not enough.

The innovations are being lobbied by insurers themselves, who have repeatedly complained about recourse claims from motorists. At the same time, companies say that today only 6.1% of drivers choose to repair vehicles at a service station, although experts have repeatedly pointed out that they simply do not issue directions for restoring cars, and insurers themselves complain about "consumer extremism" and lawsuits due to disrupted repair times.

Traditionally, some "auto lawyers" are blamed for the problems, who "act on behalf of the victims and receive money over the limit."

In addition, insurance companies are asking for legislation to increase the maximum time for restoration repairs from the current 30 to 45 days.
