OREANDA-NEWS  The US and Israeli strikes destroyed a synagogue in the center of Tehran. This is reported by the Iranian Press TV channel.

"Even synagogues did not escape the attacks of the United States and Israel: one in the center of Tehran was razed to the ground," the report says.

Iran is home to the second largest Jewish population in West Asia, where they lived "in peace and harmony — at least until Israel attacked Iran."

Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces launched a powerful attack on Iran's largest petrochemical plant. According to Defense Minister Israel Katz, this facility accounts for about 50 percent of the country's total petrochemical output.
