OREANDA-NEWS  Cultural figures criticizing the special operation in Ukraine hardly said anything about the US war with Iran. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting of the Council for Culture.

"You said about those who signed all kinds of letters. I understand that after the start of ITS. But I am sure that these lovers of epistolary art hardly wrote anything after the tragic events in the Middle East began," he said.

According to him, such a selective attitude towards conflicts shows the dependence of these people on the political situation.

On March 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin, in his message to Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei and President Masoud Peseshkian, wished the Iranian people to overcome their ordeal with dignity.
