Belarus reports on close cooperation with Russia in the genocide case

OREANDA-NEWS Minsk cooperates most closely and effectively with Russia in the framework of the investigation of the criminal case on the genocide of the inhabitants of the Belarusian SSR during the Great Patriotic War, Sergei Shikunets, deputy head of the investigation group of the Prosecutor General's Office of Belarus in this criminal case, said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
"We have the closest and most fruitful cooperation with the Russian side," Shikunets said.
He recalled that in April 2022, the Prosecutor General's Office of Belarus, together with the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation, established a working group to establish the circumstances of the genocide of the Soviet people during the war years, and in June 2022, an international investigative task force was formed jointly with the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
