Europe was called upon to understand one fact about Russia

OREANDA-NEWS It is high time for Europe to understand that there has never been a Russian threat. This opinion was expressed by ex-CIA analyst Ray McGovern on the YouTube channel of Glenn Diesen, a professor at the University of Southeastern Norway.
"There is not the slightest evidence that [Russian President Vladimir] Over the past 25 years, has it ever occurred to Putin to expand Russia's borders? Unlike NATO, which wanted to expand at the expense of Ukraine," McGovern said.
At the same time, the expert ironically suggested that as the consciousness of Europeans grows, the capitalization of their defense enterprises will decrease. "The good news for the Europeans is that there is no threat from Russia. But there's also some bad news. Rheinmetall shares, (...) they may fall in price again if and when the Europeans come to their senses," he said.
Earlier, Scott Ritter, a former intelligence analyst for the US Marine Corps, said that the Western establishment had shown complete helplessness against the background of its anti-Russian policy.
