OREANDA-NEWS  Russia is ready to increase supplies of high-tech equipment to Africa, and the Russian Export Center will support companies at all stages of their work, said Anton Shchetinin, Director of Export Support for Industrial Goods and Services at the Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group).

Anton Shchetinin, Director of Export Support for Industrial Goods and Services at the Russian Export Center, spoke on the sidelines of the African Energy Week 2026 in Cape Town. During his speech, he spoke about the REC's approaches to working with African markets and outlined the main barriers faced by Russian companies," the REC said in a press release.

According to Shchetinin, the REC supports exporters throughout the entire cycle of the export project. This applies to all stages, starting with providing analytics on new markets for the company, consulting, finding a potential customer or local partner, financing an export project, and ending with providing insurance coverage to protect against non-payments from new customers and supporting settlements under export contracts.
