OREANDA-NEWS The press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov stated that Russia is not planning to sell oil at a loss. The Kremlin spokesman said this at a briefing.

According to him, if the demand for energy resources decreases somewhere, it increases elsewhere. Peskov was commenting on the statement of U.S. President Joe Biden, who allowed that Europe could continue to buy oil from Russia, but at a reduced price.

On May 31, Head of the European Council Charles Michel said that leaders of the member countries of the European Union had agreed on a sixth package of sanctions against Russia. New restrictions will affect imports of oil from Russia and a number of other measures against Moscow.

Earlier, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitriy Peskov said that the resignation of senior police officers in the regions was due to the rotation of personnel.
