OREANDA-NEWS The DPRK is working to rebuild tunnels at the Punggye-ri nuclear test site, which may indicate that the country is preparing for a series of nuclear tests, according to experts cited by the Yonhap news agency, Gazeta.ru reported.

According to its data, recent satellite photos of North Korea's nuclear test site have shown activity which may indicate additional nuclear tests.

An analysis of the images by Washington-based think tank Beyond Parallel says the latest satellite photos show the construction of new buildings or modifications to existing ones. The agency notes that this could indicate efforts to further rehabilitate the facility for future testing.

Work at tunnel №3 began about four months ago and appears to have been completed by now, with the facility ready for the seventh nuclear test often mentioned, Beyond Parallel notes.
