OREANDA-NEWS   The European Union will increase military support for Kiev in response to the statement of the Russian Defense Ministry that from July 20, all ships that proceed to Ukrainian ports will be considered participants in the conflict. This was stated by the head of EU diplomacy Josep Borrel, reports TASS.

"The decision to call any vessel or warship a target for Russia's military activity is a step towards blocking Ukraine's ability to export its grain by sea," he said.

The head of the European Diplomacy added that the solution to the current situation is to increase military assistance to Ukraine, including providing air defense means.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that a number of areas in the northwestern and southeastern parts of the international waters of the Black Sea were declared temporarily dangerous for navigation. The ministry explained that from 00:00 Moscow time on July 20, all ships that proceed to Ukrainian ports will be considered potential carriers of military cargo.
