OREANDA-NEWS The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is not yet ready to assess the volume of a new loan to Ukraine, as well as the distribution of the burden between the fund itself and other donors in Kiev, said Julie Kozak, director of the IMF's communications department, when asked by RIA Novosti.

"We will very carefully consider the appropriate financing, the financing structure, how much the IMF can provide ... we will discuss with Ukraine's external donors the necessary external finances," she said when asked by the agency at a briefing.

Earlier, Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko said she had sent a letter to the head of the IMF mission in Ukraine, Gavin Gray, requesting a new program to financially support the country.
