OREANDA-NEWS US President Donald Trump is "tired" of negotiations to resolve the conflict in Ukraine and is "disappointed" with the Russian and Ukrainian sides. This was stated by White House press Secretary Caroline Levitt during a briefing broadcast by CNBC.

"President Trump is tired and frustrated with both sides of this conflict. The president and his team have made great efforts to resolve this very crisis, which the previous US administration, which showed weakness and incompetence, is responsible for starting," the White House spokeswoman said.

Levitt did not specify which specific topics Trump would raise in a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, which will take place on May 19, at 17:00. However, she stressed that the American leader is "doing everything possible on his part" to help resolve the Ukrainian conflict.

Earlier, Levitt said that Trump is working overtime and as fast as he can to end the Ukrainian crisis and the conflict in the Gaza Strip.
