OREANDA-NEWS. The United States will give Brazil 1 thousand mechanical ventilation devices. This is stated in a message issued on Sunday night by the US National Security Council (NSS) on Twitter.
"The US administration donates a thousand mechanical ventilation devices to Brazil as a medical aid", the NSS said. "The US recognizes the serious efforts of the Brazilian government to combat the pandemic and intends to soon strengthen cooperation in defense and trade". The United States, due to the threat of the spread of coronavirus, forbids entry from 23:59 on May 28 (06:59 Moscow time on May 29) to foreigners who visited Brazil 14 days before arrival.
The number of deaths from diseases caused by coronavirus in the largest Latin American state exceeds 22 thousand.
