OREANDA-NEWS  More than 60 countries took part in the Eastern Economic Forum, which was held in Vladivostok. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Trutnev following the results of the VIII Eastern Economic Forum.

"More than 7 thousand people took part in it. 62 countries of the world ...", - said Trutnev.

He added that representatives of unfriendly countries, for example, the USA, England, Germany, France, took part in the WEF.

The Eastern Economic Forum was held in Vladivostok from 10 to 14 September.
It was not possible to implement a unipolar world. This is one of the main theses of the Eastern Economic Forum. Developing countries see their identity and want to put it on the basis of an equal future. This is confirmed by the expansion of international organizations. And here, including Russia and China, mutually beneficial cooperation.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova: "We are able to create integration associations that attract free and independent countries that independently make free choices, want to participate, seeing this as a bonus for themselves. This is demonstrated by Russia, this is demonstrated by China. And in the economic, ideological, cultural, social, and political spheres."

The most advantageous position is in the Far East. The President of Russia declared its development a national priority for the entire 21st century 10 years ago. The first results are being summed up today. Almost 3 and a half trillion rubles of investments have been attracted to the macroregion, about seven hundred enterprises have been built. The most modern president gives a start from the fields of the WEF. And in this perspective, we are talking again about China, which has been deployed on an unprecedented scale thanks to new infrastructure facilities.

President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Alexander Shokhin: "Russia has lost Western markets, the European market in particular. And the intensification of trade with China is, to a large extent, compensation for these markets, and it goes in two directions. The first is the reorientation of the flows of traditional Russian exports. And secondly, there is such a compensatory flow of machinery, equipment, machinery, electronics from China."

And another confirmation of this right on the WEF. Development of business and education, transport communication, trade turnover. Sessions, venues, and agreements are dedicated to this.

CGTN's own correspondent-Russian Tatiana Shevchuk: "One of perhaps the brightest venues of the entire Eastern Economic Forum. It's all about the use of modern presentation technologies. Everyone tries to make themselves known as loudly as possible. In total, dozens of expositions are deployed at the WEF. And the work of the business program was carried out in one hundred sections."
