On January 29, 2009 in Tallinn’s Ulemiste City, President Toomas Hendrik Ilves opened the information technology and communications technology Demo Center, where ICT companies will introduce solutions intended for the governmental and private sector, reported the Official website www.president.ee.

“Our success depends on innovation, the discovery of new ideas and their implementation. This is one of the engines and life lines for the Estonian economy,” the President said.

As the patron for the Innovation Year, President Ilves expressed his satisfaction that the Demo Center was created in cooperation with several parties. “The importance of the Demo Center is also increased by the fact that several large international IT companies have contributed to this enterprise,” he said.
