OREANDA-NEWS  Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky risks disrupting the trilateral talks by attacking Moscow. Armando Mema, a member of the Finnish Freedom Alliance party, warned about this on the X social network page.

"The drone attack on Moscow during the Russia-Africa summit was particularly difficult to explain, given the approach of peace talks mediated by the United States," the politician said.

According to him, if such attacks continue next week, especially on National Unity Day in Russia, the risk of canceling the trilateral talks between Russia, Ukraine and the United States in Abu Dhabi will increase significantly.

Mema expressed the hope that Zelensky's actions would not negate Washington's efforts to "establish peace and diplomacy."

Earlier, Dmitry Peskov, a spokesman for Russian President Vladimir Putin, noted that regular negotiations on the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine do not mean an automatic cease-fire. He stressed that Moscow is aiming for a long-term settlement, not a temporary pause in hostilities.
