OREANDA-NEWS Alter Invest has launched the assembly of smart TVs at the former Mazda plant. This is reported by RIA Novosti.

The assembly of the Smart TV began in Vladivostok. The new facilities created at the industrial site of the former Japanese car engine plant include a high-tech assembly and control line, a clean room and a product testing laboratory.

At the initial stage, the industrial site will produce up to 600,000 devices per year, with plans to expand capacity to 1.2 million units in the future.

In October 2025, the Japanese automotive company Mazda lost the right to purchase its production assets in Russia. The manufacturer has not sent any requests for the option to Sollers Group of Companies.

The enterprise in Primorsky Krai was restarted back in 2023. In 2025, its facilities launched the production of buses under the Sollers brand.
