"The day before, the maximum air temperature in Moscow reached only plus 14.7 degrees. Thus, the last day of July became the coldest in at least 70 years in Moscow," he said.

The weather forecaster also noted that on Thursday it will be a little warmer, the air in the capital in the afternoon can warm up to 16 degrees.

Earlier, the leading specialist of the Phobos weather center, Alexander Sinenkov, reported that Wednesday was the coldest day of July this year and could be the coldest in 70 years, despite the fact that according to the climatic description July 31 is considered the warmest day of the year.
