OREANDA-NEWS. Roman Repin has been appointed Vnesheconombank Senior Director and Head of the Strategic Development Department. He will focus on the development and introduction of VEB’s new strategy and business model.

In December 2016, the VEB Supervisory Board approved the Bank’s Strategy 2021. The strategy envisions the priority involvement of Vnesheconombank in promoting «catching-up» industries (downstream industries, support of non-mineral exports, infrastructure, etc.) and, in particular, rapid development, including quantum technologies, blockchain and neuro- and biotechnologies.

Roman Repin graduated from the M.V. Lomonosov University of Moscow with honors in 2004 (Master of Geology), and in 2012 from the Grenoble Graduate School of Business (MBA).
