OREANDA-NEWS The "coin Week" begins in Russia: banks will open branches for accepting coins throughout the country, representatives of the largest credit institutions told RIA Novosti.

This year's Coin Week will be held from October 26 to November 7. At this time, Russians can exchange their accumulated change for paper money at banks and stores that participate in the campaign without commission.

"PSB will take part in the autumn All-Russian campaign "Coin Week", organized by the Bank of Russia. Anyone can exchange the accumulated coins for Bank of Russia banknotes at the PSB offices or transfer the equivalent of the deposited amount to an account or bank deposit," the bank said.
