OREANDA-NEWS. Two new exchange-listed index funds issued by BlackRock have been tradable via Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since Wednesday.

The new iShares factor ETFs enable investors to participate in the performance of companies with high ESG ratings, i.e. those that place a special focus on the environment and corporate governance. Excluded are companies whose products have negative social or environmental impacts as well as those involved in producing tobacco, alcohol or military weapons. The companies are divided by sector and then selected for inclusion in the reference indices on the basis of their ESG ratings, with each sector capped at 22.5%.
