OREANDA-NEWS. Sberbank, the Government of the Samara Region and AVTOVAZ entered into a cooperation agreement at Sochi 2016 international investment forum. The document was signed by Herman Gref, CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board of Sberbank, Nikolay Merkushkin, Governor of the Samara Region, and Sergey Skvortsov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AVTOVAZ.

The agreement aims to establish general principles for cooperating in the area of socio-economic development of the Samara region and employment of its residents.

It will enable Sberbank to open new offices in the Samara Region, including at AVTOVAZ, and thereby create jobs for the local population.
