OREANDA-NEWS  Belarus has agreed to refinance loans under separate agreements with the government of the Russian Federation, said the Minister of Finance of the Republic, Yuri Seliverstov.

"There are still many issues that we need to further advance, because this is not the easiest agenda. Nevertheless, under separate agreements, we have agreed to refinance loans from the Russian government that were provided to the Ministry of Finance earlier," the minister said in an interview with the Belarus 1 TV channel.

He stressed that this would support the Belarusian financial system and the balance of payments. "But we will continue to work," Seliverstov said.
