OREANDA-NEWS Acting head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin said that the authorities had found a strategic investor for the Azovstal plant in Mariupol, which was seriously damaged as a result of the fighting. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

Pushilin said that he discussed the details and a kind of roadmap for the restoration of Azovstal with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin. According to him, an investor has already been found to create a technopark. 

The representative of the DPR added that the project is being developed by specialists of relevant departments at the federal and regional levels. He stressed that it is necessary to calculate everything in order to fit into the master plan of the city. "It is certainly clear to us, and we made this decision last year, that Azovstal will not work in the same volumes, in the same structure," Pushilin concluded.

Earlier, Pushilin said that an investor had been found in the DPR to restore Artemsoli. It will be a large Russian company.
