OREANDA-NEWS  The fortune of Russian billionaires, included in the list of the 500 richest people in the world, fell by $ 8.73 billion in February to $309.75 billion. RIA Novosti writes about this with reference to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index (BBI) rating.

At the beginning of March, the rating includes 20 Russian citizens. Alexey Mordashov, the main beneficiary of Severstal, with a capital of $ 27.3 billion, moved to the first place. He was ahead of one of the main owners of Norilsk Nickel, Vladimir Potanin, who, after losing almost three billion dollars, had 27 billion left.

Also in the top five are Vagit Alekperov, co-owner of Lukoil ($25 billion), Leonid Mikhelson, co-owner of Novatek gas company ($24.5 billion) and Vladimir Lisin, beneficiary of NLMK ($24.4 billion).

By the end of 2025, the wealth of the richest Russians increased by $ 23.8 billion. According to the results of a separate second half of 2025, they have become impoverished by 800 million. In January, the capital of the largest Russian businessmen immediately added $ 19.4 billion.
