OREANDA-NEWS According to the results of the first half of the year, the median salary offered in the Russian construction sector reached 124 thousand rubles, exceeding the figures for the same period last year by 17 percent. This was shown by a study conducted by HeadHunter and developer SK10.

According to Maria Ignatova, HeadHunter's research director, the biggest requests today are from the chief engineers of the project (GIP) — almost 194,000 rubles, and construction project managers — almost 200,000. At the same time, employers, as a rule, offer significantly less in these positions than candidates want. In some cases, the difference may be several tens of thousands of rubles. However, in some other professions (handyman, machinist, painter, welder, installer) companies are willing to pay even more than the applicants request. The reason for this phenomenon is a shortage of personnel.

It also turned out that candidates who are not related to working professions can currently expect the highest income. Real estate brokers are offered more than 180 thousand rubles, real estate agents — more than 177 thousand. The surveyor has a chance to earn an average of almost 154 thousand, the chief engineer of the project — 159 thousand. But the foremen are promised almost 149 thousand, the machinists — 138 thousand.
