OREANDA-NEWS  The average rate on short—term deposits in the 50 largest Russian banks has dropped below 14% - the last time it was more than two years ago, RIA Novosti found out according to the Financial Services index.

So, on March 6, the average yield on three—month deposits was 13.99% - it fell below 14% for the first time since mid-December 2023.

At the same time, deposit rates for up to six months at the 50 largest Russian banks decreased to 13.75%, and for a year — to 12.67%. Both values are now at the lowest level since mid-December 2023.
