OREANDA-NEWS  Former US President Joe Biden was awarded the largest state pension among all former heads of the White House. This is reported by The New York Post (NYP).

It is noted that Biden's pension payments will amount to about 417 thousand dollars a year, which exceeds his presidential salary. According to the newspaper, the pension of the former American leader turned out to be twice as high as that of another former US president Barack Obama.

Demian Brady, vice president of the American National Taxpayers Fund, explained that thanks to his long-term political career, the politician was able to count on large payments from two pension funds in the first year after leaving his post as president.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump announced the cancellation of all documents that were signed by his predecessor Joe Biden using an autograph. According to him, the former head of state's use of a fountain pen calls into question his ability to make decisions and sign decrees consciously.
